Apple released the latest update of the Safari Technology Preview on February 25 that is an experimental browser released by Apple in March 2016. Apple designed the Safari Technology Preview to test the features that may be introduced in Safari in the future official version.

Safari Technology Preview 121 includes bug fixes for Web Inspector, CSS, GPU Process, Media, Web API, JavaScript, WebAssembly, Accessibility, and speech recognition, as well as some technical and performance improvements.

The Safari technology preview version is built on Safari 14 included in macOS Big Sur. It supports importing other browsers’ network extensions, label previews, password leak notifications, touch ID network authentication, etc. into Safari.

The latest Safari technology preview can be used on macOS Catalina and the latest version of macOS, macOS Big Sur. One of the purposes of the Apple Safari Technology Preview is to collect feedback from developers and users on the new features of the browser.

The Apple Safari technical preview version can run in parallel with the existing Safari browser. Although it is designed for developers, anyone can install it.
