Huawei plans to launch its own-brand electric vehicles

Huawei intends to launch its own-brand electric car. Currently, Huawei is negotiating with Changan Automobile and BAIC Blue Valley for OEM manufacturing.

Affected by this news, BAIC Blue Valley’s daily limit, Changan Automobile’s short-term increase of over 9%. It is worth mentioning that Huawei has stated many times before that it will not enter the field of car manufacturing.

Last year, Huawei’s internal website Xinsheng Community published a Huawei Management Team (EMT) document (Huawei EMT Resolution [2020] No. 007) that officially changed the business jurisdiction of Huawei Smart Car Solution BU (IAS BU) from ICT business management the committee was adjusted to the Consumer Business Management Committee.

Along with this, Wang Tao was appointed as a member of the Consumer Business Management Committee. Huawei once again reiterated that Huawei does not build complete cars, but instead focuses on ICT technology to help automakers build good cars, build good cars.

And become an incremental component provider for intelligent networked cars. ‘Whoever proposes to build cars in the future will interfere with the company, can be transferred from the post and look for another post.’
