Intel’s 11th-generation Rocket Lake series desktop CPUs will be completely launched on March 16 and will go on sale on March 30. References to previous practices are supposed to be available in China at the same time.
Additionally, the Intel Core i7 11700K leaked by a European retailer is priced at 469 Euros (152 Euros higher than the i7-10700K on the same platform and close to 10900K), and it has been confirmed that it is not a placeholder.
As we all know, Intel has declared the Z590 platform at CES, and a large number of manufacturers’ motherboards have been sold. Intel’s Rocket Lake family of processors will be officially launched on March 16, and the sale/removal of the ban will be on March 30.
As far as it is known, Intel’s 11th-generation Core Rocket Lake-S utilizes the new Cypress Cove architecture, with up to 8 cores and 16 threads (the previous generation was 10 cores and 20 threads).
The multi-thread performance is not as good as the previous generation, but the single-core performance is absolutely leading. On the other side, the 11th generation desktop Core has 20 PCIe 4.0 channels, integrates a USB 3.2 Gen 2*2 control chip, and supports the Intel 500 series chipset.
Intel Rocket Lake-S will also use a UHD 750 core display, 256 stream processor, 1.3GHz frequency that is about 50% higher than UHD 630.
