Gigabyte has launched a new G-series server: G262-ZR0 that is suitable for data analysis, high-speed computing, and artificial intelligence workload requirements.
This server is equipped with dual AMD Xiaolong 64-core processors and 4 sets of Nvidia A100 accelerator cards and supports PCIe 4.0 transmission.
G262-ZR0 is based on a new generation of interconnection technology, gives higher bandwidth and speed, and has the most excellent accelerated computing performance in a 2U chassis.
It is equipped with two second-generation AMD EPYC 7002 series processors with cores up to 128 pcs, with 160 PCIe 4.0 channels, to achieve the maximum throughput between processors and between processors and cooperative computing cards.
In addition, the G262-ZR0 is equipped with 4 sets of Nvidia HGX A100 accelerator cards that use the third-generation Tensor core to improve high-performance computing speed.
Nvidia A100 is divided into 40GB and 80GB memory capacity specifications: 40GB version provides 1.6TB per second bandwidth, and 80GB version provides 2TB per second bandwidth.
In terms of memory, G262-ZR0 supports 16 sets of DDR4 memory with a transmission speed of up to 3200MHz and a capacity of up to 4TB. In terms of storage, it provides 4 sets of 2.5-inch Gen4 U.2 NVMe/ SATA hot-swappable hard disk slots, and 2 sets of M. 2 slots.
In terms of expansion slots, 6 PCIe 4.0 x16 half-height expansion slots and 1 OCP 3.0 slot are provided to expand network or storage applications.
Additionally, 2 sets of 1GbE network connections and 2 sets of 3000 watts 80 PLUS platinum are given Level redundant power supply.
