Redmi K40 will be globally released as a Poco F3, uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset
Redmi officially launched the new K40 series in China last week, there have been rumors that one or more models of the series will be listed in the global market under the Poco brand. The previous related certifications Prove this.
Now this phone has also been certified by the US FCC, and the mystery has also been revealed. Poco F3 will be listed as an overseas version of Redmi K40. If nothing else, there is likely to be a Poco F3 Pro model that should correspond to Redmi K40 Pro or K40 Pro+, but there is no relevant information about this device.
Poco F3 model, like Redmi K40, utilizes Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset, supports 5G, has a memory between 6-12GB, gives 128/256GB of storage space, and does not support expansion.
There are three rear cameras, a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle and a 5MP macro camera, and a 20MP camera for selfies. The battery capacity of the mobile phone is 4520 mAh, and it has a 33W fast charge function (from zero to full charge in just one hour).
The screen of this device is 6.67 inches 1080×2400 120Hz Super AMOLED, covering Gorilla Glass 5, running MIUI 12 system based on Android 11. Currently, the time to market the overseas version of this device is unknown.
