Nikon launch free software of NX Studio, supports for image browsing

Nikon declared the release of NX Studio, new software that can seamlessly browse, process, and edit photos and videos taken with Nikon digital cameras.

The software can be downloaded for free starting today. NX Studio is available in Windows and macOS versions. Officially, users can experience all-around editing of photos, and the operation is more intuitive.

By integrating the functions of the image browsing software ViewNX-i* and the image processing and editing software ‘Capture Craftsman’*, users can now browse, process, and edit images with a single software.

Nikon stated that users can use more detailed editing functions (for example, Picture Control, white balance settings, and leaked compensation of RAW data) and advanced local correction tools (for example, color control points that can adjust colors within a specified range). Better realize the required image output.

Along with this, it gives a retouching brush function for removing dust and scratches in the image. The overall response speed of each function (for example, image display) has also been improved so that photos and videos can be processed more smoothly.

At the same time, images edited with NX Studio can be transferred to Nikon’s image sharing and storage service NIKON IMAGE SPACE. NX Studio will be continuously updated to ensure continuous support for image browsing, processing, and editing.
