Sonos is about to release a new portable audio Roam. This product is waterproof against sports Bluetooth speakers like UE Boom. Sonos Roam is the brand’s first portable speaker product, but it inherits the brand’s Wi-Fi connection function.
The product adopts Type-C wired and wireless charging modes. The wireless charging base is sold separately at a price of $49 . The Sonos brand’s previous speaker products are accustomed to offering black and white two styles, and this portable speaker is no exception.
By looking at the connection, the product uses a dedicated App to use WiFi for playback, and supports Apple’s AirPlay 2 technology. The speaker has a built-in microphone and supports Google Voice Assistant and Amazon Alexa. If consumers buy two Sonos Roams, they can pair them to form a stereo mode to enhance the effect.
The product has a battery life of 10 hours, and the shell is covered with rubber that has a certain anti-fall ability. The product is expected to be launched on March 9 and will go on sale on April 20 at a price of US$169, which is approximately RMB 1094.
