T-Mobile releases routers for people working from home, supports 5G

US telecom operator T-Mobile has released a new home office Internet service (Home Office System) for people working from home that is managed and paid for by employers and includes more security tools.

The T-Mobile home office Internet service system will give users an independent dedicated wireless router that supports 5G or LTE networking, has ‘enterprise-level Wi-Fi security features, and supports 24/7 operation. T-Mobile said that the service will be increased to 90 million households by 2025.

By looking at the costs, the T-Mobile home office Internet service package begins at US$90 (approximately 580 yuan) per month per line and gives unlimited data. However, after the data exceeds 50G, T-Mobile may decrease the speed.

The operator also launched the T-Mobile Collaborate collaboration platform that can conduct telephone calls, voice, and video conferences, starting at US$37 per user per month.
