Apple iPad mini 6 rendering leaked, uses a full screen plus Touch ID
Apple will hold a spring new product release conference in March every year. Recently, several online users leaked the high-definition renderings of the iPad mini 6, showing the appearance design and some configuration information of the device.
The iPad mini 6 will utilize a new ID design this time that is a bit similar to the iPad Air 4. It uses a full screen + Touch ID solution for the first time on this product. The front screen size is 8.9 inches and the resolution is 2360*1640, the maximum brightness is 500nits.
The physical Touch ID fingerprint recognition button is set at the top position in the upper right corner and is combined with the power button. The appearance of the whole device also uses a square right-angle frame design, and the back is equipped with a 12-megapixel single camera.
By looking at the core configuration, the iPad mini 6 will be equipped with the same A14 Bionic chip as the iPhone 12 series, with a built-in 64/128/256GB storage space for three options. Additionally, iPad mini 6 also introduces a USB Type-C charging/data interface and supports Apple Pencil 2nd generation.
In terms of cost, the iPad mini 6 has undergone major changes as a whole, so the value will expand, but the starting price should be less than 4,000 yuan (612.85 USD).
