Blizzard releases recruitment information, plans to expand 3A multiplayer games

Blizzard is recruiting developers with the intention of developing an ‘unannounced 3A multiplayer game‘ for PCs and consoles. The information disclosed in the recruitment notice on Blizzard’s official website shows that Blizzard is preparing to develop a first-person shooting game with next-generation graphics and a unique and innovative artistic style.

In the recruitment notice, Blizzard stated: “Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented and enthusiastic senior system designer to design and develop core systems and mechanisms for an undisclosed AAA multiplayer project.

In this role, you require to come to Support Blizzard’s core value of “game priority”, because you need to provide visual and design insights to cross-disciplinary team members, and be responsible for the design of core game mechanics.”

Another job posting is looking for assistant combat designers who have “extensive player experience in FPS and action games. The last part seems to indicate that the game will have an offline single-player mode. Blizzard is also looking for level designers who can help them create a “majestic, unforgettable world”, which means that their game will have some unique maps.

Dan John Cox, a senior graphic designer at Blizzard, said that Blizzard plans to fill 16 vacant positions to help develop unannounced projects. In general, Blizzard’s new recruitment information revealed that their new development team wanted to design a 3A-level multiplayer game.
