Redmi’s latest device will be equipped with a ‘microscope’ camera and more

OPPO launched the Find X3 series of mobile phones on March 11 that features a 60x microscope camera that can shoot macro images. Xiaomi’s Redmi product director Wang Teng said the telephoto macro is a feature that Xiaomi first launched last year. It’s great to see more brands launching similar features together’.

The new device being developed by Redmi will also upgrade its macro shooting capabilities, and announced the actual shots, which are expected to be MSG that is sodium glutamate crystals.

The Redmi K30 Pro mobile phone released in 2020 is equipped with a telephoto macro lens. This phone is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and utilizes a pop-up front camera to achieve a true full screen.

The telephoto macro lens of this phone uses a Samsung S5K5E9 sensor, 5 million pixels, equivalent focal length of 50mm. The closest focusing distance of this lens is 3cm.

According to the user’s actual measurement, it can barely capture the pixel arrangement of the mobile phone screen, but the macro shooting ability is not as good as the OPPO Find X3.
