BYD’s 22-meter pure electric hinged bus launched in Brazil, equip with a USB interface
In March 2021, Brazil’s first locally built BYD 22-meter pure electric hinged bus was successfully revealed in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo State, Brazil. This is the country’s first purely electric hinged bus.
BYD’s 22-meter pure electric hinged bus has the characteristics of quiet operation. It only takes 3 hours to fully charge, has a range of 250 kilometers, and can carry 168 passengers.
The bus is also equipped with a USB interface, the whole car is equipped with 6 cameras, the door is equipped with an anti-pinch system, and more convenient ride facilities are designed for wheelchair users.
In the future, BYD will successively deliver 12 22-meter pure electric hinged buses for urban transportation projects in the local ‘Green Line Project corridor’.
The project covers an area of 75,000 square meters, including a pure electric BRT route and 4 squares along the route, aiming to promote clean transportation and economic development in the city.
