Samsung recently released the S34A650 curved display globally with a screen size of 34 inches, a 21:9 ratio VA panel, and a resolution of 3440×1440. This product has a wealth of interfaces on the back, supports Type-C first-line connection, and uses PD protocol to provide up to 90W power supply for notebook computers.
Samsung’s display has a curvature of 1000R, which is obviously curved from the top, providing a good sense of immersion. The maximum refresh rate of the display is 100Hz, which is not a common specification, but it is also enough to widen the gap with the 60Hz display.
This panel has a contrast ratio of 4000:1, a maximum brightness of 300cd/m2, and a response time of 5ms. In addition, the monitor supports 10bit color depth that can display 1.07 billion colors, supports HDR10, can provide high dynamic range images, and is compatible with HDR games and videos.
By looking at the interfaces, the display has the function of a USB-Hub hub, provides an RJ45 network port, multiple USB 3.0 ports, and can provide rich expansion capabilities for the notebook through a Type-C cable and provide power at the same time.
This monitor utilizes a large-area base with a thickness of only 2.5mm. The monitor stand supports large-angle left-right and pitch adjustment. In addition, the monitor also supports AMD FreeSync function.
