Tencent Cloud declared the official launch of a new generation of Xingxinghai servers. Tencent Cloud stated that compared to the previous generation, the new generation of products has a larger number of single-node cores.
Using the latest AMD Milan processor, the corresponding cloud server Xinghai SA3 can provide up to 232 cores of single-node computing power. In the AI scenario, the measured performance is improved by more than 220%.
By looking at the safety and heat dissipation, the new generation of products has added SEV-SNP features, the air-cooled heat dissipation capacity has been increased by 22%, and the compatibility of the liquid-cooled design has reduced carbon emissions by 8%.
In terms of storage, Xinghai SA3 utilizes the latest generation of Tencent Cloud CBS block storage engine, the storage capacity of the whole device reaches 8GB/s, and the IO latency is reduced by 63%.
In terms of network, the bottom layer of Xinghai SA3 is completely based on 100G network architecture, providing 100G ultra-large network bandwidth. According to Tencent Cloud, its single-node network bandwidth has increased by up to 400% compared with the previous generation, and its network packet forwarding performance has also increased by more than 260%.
