AMD’s next-generation APU code-named ‘Van Gogh’ was recently leaked by AMD internal engineers. The boot log information revealed a quad-core ‘Van Gogh’ APU.
From the leaked log information, it can be seen that this APU supports 256bit wide DDR5 memory. According to the calculation of 64bit per channel, the processor supports four-channel DDR5 memory.
This processor is similar to the APU structure of the PS5 and Xbox Series series, so it is expected to be furnished with RDNA 2 architecture graphics cards. And supporting four-channel DDR5 memory is conducive to improving the performance of the core graphics card.
As per the previous news, this APU is expected to be available in 2022, the processor architecture will be upgraded to Zen 3 architecture, support VCN 3.0 video features, TDP between 7.5W to 18W.
