A few days ago, the HP HPE official support page leaked Intel’s unreleased Ice Lake-SP Xeon Zhiqiang series server processors. Among them, the highest specification CPU has 40 cores and 80 threads, far exceeding the previous Zhiqiang processor.

The third-generation Zhiqiang platinum processor includes 8352, 8380, and many other models, starting with 32 cores. One of the most high-end XCC 8380 with 40 core 80 thread, basic frequency 2.3GHz, TDP 270W.

The number of cores and TDP, Intel’s Ice Lake-SP Zhiqiang processor is expected to utilize 10nm SuperFin process technology to achieve such efficiency.

In addition, Intel’s generation of Xeon Zhiqiang processors is expected to support PCIe 4.0, 8-channel DDR4 memory, and the process and technology will greatly improve performance.

Intel CEO Pat Gelsinger previously stated on Twitter that a live event will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 on March 24, Beijing time, to announce Intel’s news in the field of technology and innovation, but did not disclose the specific content. Information about the new generation of Xeon processors is expected to be declared during the live broadcast.
