At the 2021 Shanghai International Headphone Show held today, Audeze launched Euclid, the brand’s first in-ear headphones. The brand specializes in the production of flat-panel diaphragm earphones and has previously introduced LCD-4, ISINE 10, and other earphones.
Due to the relatively large volume of the flat diaphragm, it is more difficult to put this kind of sound-generating device into the earphone. Euclid earphones are made of aluminum alloy cavity, carbon fiber decorative panel, and the closed structure design has no vent holes.
The built-in 18mm flat-panel unit of the earphone provides rich detail expression and transient response speed and can output 120dB sound pressure , which is higher than most moving iron or moving coil earphones.
This headset has a wide sound field, bringing a different performance from previously closed headsets. In addition, compared to multi-unit products at the same value, no frequency division is required, and the sound of the whole frequency range is cohesive.
This headset utilizes Audeze’s patented Fazor waveguide technology that can remove most phase distortions. The flat panel unit utilizes a Fluxor magnet and Uniforce diaphragm, which can further decrease distortion and improve sensitivity.
