Honda’s third-generation Honda CONNECT system was officially released. Honda announced that it will gradually install applications on new Honda models from the second half of 2021.
The third-generation Honda CONNECT utilizes intelligent voice as the interactive interface, which can realize functions like ‘AI intelligent assistant’, ‘interconnection of daily life, ‘remote control’, and ‘OTA online upgrade’.
In terms of personalization, Honda introduced that the third-generation Honda CONNECT can control smart home products at home at any time. Along with this, users can also know the status of the vehicle at home with the Tmall Genie paired with the third-generation Honda CONNECT, like remotely checking the vehicle.
Perform operations like starting and turning on the air conditioner. In addition, users can also conduct online shopping, order takeaways, and other operations. Honda stated that the system can continuously upgrade.
And strengthen its functions through cloud services and OTA, like adding customized voice functions, real-time updates of map data, and providing more personalized and exclusive services through in-depth learning of user behavior preferences.
It is understood that Honda launched the first-generation Honda CONNECT system in 2015. In June 2019, Honda announced the cooperation with IT companies like Alibaba AI Lab and iFlytek to jointly develop the third-generation Honda CONNECT.
