During the 2021 Shanghai International Headphone Exhibition, Dayink’s first electrostatic unit headset was unveiled. Yesterday, the product was officially launched and the cost was announced.
This headset is called EST 112, and it has a configuration of 1 moving coil + 1 moving iron + 2 electrostatic units on one side, and the value is 2,999 yuan. This headset is made of a metal shell, furnished with the third-generation 13.5mm double-sided beryllium-plated moving coil unit, providing good rigidity and resolution.
The moving iron unit uses Lou’s customized high-frequency unit and is also equipped with two second-generation acoustic speaker customized electrostatic units. Dayink EST 112 still uses MMCX interchangeable cable design.
The official said that the product comes with a patented self-locking interchangeable plug cable, which is convenient to replace 2.5mm, 4.4mm balanced ports, and 3.5mm single ports to meet the needs of different front ends. The electrostatic unit used in this headset is responsible for the high-frequency part that can provide better extension and information.
The official stated that EST 112 is natural and transparent in high frequency, not tired after listening for a long time, good at small instrumental music and female voice, and easy to drive. The current release date and detailed specification of this headset have not yet been announced, but its price of 2,999 yuan is lower than the conventional level of the brand’s headset.
