Tencent’s online game revenue increased by 29% in the fourth quarter of 2020, and the game revenue of “Honor of Kings” ranked first in the country. According to Sensor Tower data, the cumulative revenue of the “PUBG” mobile game has reached 5.1 billion US dollars since its release.
The revenue of this game in 2020 alone will reach 2.7 billion US dollars. If the domestic “Peace Elite” is added, the average quarterly revenue of this game has reached 704 million U.S. dollars, and the estimated revenue in the first quarter of 2021 is 709 million U.S. dollars.
A total of US$2.8 billion in revenue from the “PUBG” series of mobile games comes from China, and revenue from overseas regions is US$2.3 billion. Among them, US users spend the most, accounting for 12.7% of the total US$5.1 billion, followed by Japan, accounting for 4.8%.
