Canadian maker launches Daymak Spiritus three-wheeled electric vehicle
On March 27th Daymak, an electric car maker from Canada has launched a new Spiritus series of three-wheel electric vehicles. The brand previously focused on the manufacture of electric bicycles, electric motorcycles, and other products.
This is its first attempt to become a more professional cross-border electric vehicle. Officials say that Spiritus is currently the fastest three-wheeled electric car in the world. Canadian producer launches Daymak Spiritus three-wheeled electric vehicle, breaking a hundred in 1.8 seconds.
The front part of this car is similar to a traditional four-wheeled car, the rear is a single wheel design, with a shock-absorbing spring similar to a motorcycle, and the rear wheel is very wide to ensure grip. The passenger compartment in the car is also equipped with 4 airbags, three-point seat belts, and the doors are designed to open with scissors.
By looking at the power, Daymak Spiritus offers two versions to choose from. The Spiritus Ultimate is designed for all-wheel drive, with a maximum speed of 209 km/h and a maximum power of 147 kW. The car is equipped with an 80kWh battery, with a battery life of 482 kilometers, and an acceleration from 100 kilometers in 1.8 seconds that is even faster than the Tesla Roadster’s 1.9 seconds acceleration.
The Spiritus Deluxe has a maximum speed of 137km/h and a maximum electric motor power of 75 kW (100 hp). This car is equipped with a 36kWh battery and has a range of 300 kilometers. The official wheel drive type has not been announced, but its 100 kilometers acceleration time is 6.9 seconds.
The Spiritus Ultimate version also uses a carbon fiber body, supporting wireless charging, automatic driving, automatic door opening, and other functions. This model is priced at US$149,995, which is approximately RMB 980,000.
The entry version of Spiritus Deluxe is only $19,995, which is about 130,000 yuan. These two cars are currently accepting reservations and are expected to be on the market in 2023. In addition, the brand also released a series of new models in 2020, but there is currently no mass production.
