Razer launched a concept mask Project Hazel, uses VoiceAmp technology

On March 26 At CES 2021, Razer launched a concept mask Project Hazel that comes with RGB lights, a translucent design, and is equipped with a removable and rechargeable active ventilator and high bacterial filtration efficiency smart cabin, as well as microphones and amplifiers to enhance the user’s voice.

A few days ago, Razer CEO Chen Minliang confirmed to Yahoo Finance that this cool concept mask will be mass-produced. Chen Minliang said that the mask has not actually entered production yet, but it has been determined to be mass-produced.

The reason for mass production is that he believes that people still need another defense measure in addition to the new covid vaccine, and many countries cannot completely cover the vaccine within a year or two, so it is necessary to launch this mask.

Project Hazel utilizes a bright plastic shell, which is waterproof and scratch-resistant, and the official said that the level of defense is comparable to N95 masks. Along with this, due to its transparent design, Project Hazel can allow others to view facial expressions and improve social interaction.

And if the user wears a Razer mask in the dark, the internal lighting will automatically activate. Project Hazel also uses VoiceAmp technology, which uses built-in microphones and amplifiers to enhance the user’s voice.

This smart mask also has active air cooling and adjustment functions, the adjustable earrings bring excellent sealing, and the wireless quick-fill box can disinfect the mask with disinfection ultraviolet rays.

Chen Minliang once said: “The concept of the Project Hazel smart mask is designed to achieve functionality, but also to interact with the world comfortably and usefully, while maintaining a communicative aesthetics.”
