Debian, one of the Linux system projects, released the 10.9 stable version. This update mainly fixes some security issues and also solves several more serious bugs. This update does not require to the installation of ISO to reinstall the system, users can directly perform the hot update.
Debian 10.9 also gives the following updates, including LibreOffice, Linux kernel, Python, Firefox ESR, Chromium, Tor. Debian 10 was first released on July 26, 2019, and will continue to be updated and maintained until 2024.
As per the law, Debian gives major version updates every two years, so it can be expected that Debian 11 will be released this year, but no specific date has been declared yet.
