Microsoft Flight Simulator update released, improved a number of performances

Posted on

The game ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ was updated on March 26 that improved the number of performances. When the user flies a plane approaching a large airport, such as Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, the game performance will be optimized to avoid a significant drop in frame rate.

Earlier, due to the complex modeling and rendering of large airports, the game performance would be slightly decreased. The official stated that this update also improves the response speed of connecting to the server when flying and setting menus.

Although this update cannot solve all performance-related issues, it will still improve the experience for most players. The game studio also said that it plans to achieve more performance optimizations in future updates.

The latest version of ‘Microsoft Flight Simulator’ was released in 2020, and then officially provided VR support, compatible with Oculus, Valve and HTC, and other devices, giving an immersive experience. Since the game’s launch, the total number of players has exceeded 2 million and the flight mileage has exceeded 3.5 billion miles.
