Canon released new software version 1.3.0 for R5 and R6 cameras
Canon recently released the new software version 1.3.0 for R5 and R6 cameras, giving a variety of new features and fixing some bugs.
Canon EOS R5 mirrorless camera is priced at 28,299 yuan, furnished with a 45-megapixel sensor. This firmware update has the following functional enhancements:
1. Added Canon Log 3 gamma curve for video shooting, with a dynamic range of up to 1600%, which is equivalent to 13.3 files.
2. The new low-bit-rate recording option for 8K/4K video recording makes post-editing smoother.
3. Added support for 120P/100.00P mode for Full HD movie recording.
4. Electronic full-time manual focus can be realized in single autofocus and servo focus.
5. The LCD monitor can be closed when shooting.
6. When transferring via FTP, the estimated transfer time can be displayed.
7. Add the function of selecting the protected images that failed to transfer and the protected images that have not been transferred through FTP one-time transfer.
8. You can save the camera settings to the memory card, or load the saved settings file from the memory card to restore the camera settings.
9. Fixed a phenomenon that in rare cases, the camera could not operate normally when using certain CFexpress cards.

Canon EOS R6 camera is priced at 16,999 yuan, equipped with a 20.1 million pixel CMOS sensor, with 20 frames per second high-speed continuous shooting, and supports full-pixel dual-core autofocus.
