Kingston officially released NV1 NVMe solid-state drives, sequential read speed of 2100MB/s

After the teaser period during CES 2021, Kingston officially launched the NV1 series of NVMe solid-state drives today. The product gives 500GB-2TB capacity to choose from, the specification is M.2 2280.

This hard drive has a sequential read speed of 2100MB/s and a sequential write of 1700MB/s, using PCIe Gen 3.0 x 4 channels. In terms of lifespan, the write capacity of this SSD is relatively low and is expected to be QLC particles.

This solid-state drive is relatively power-saving, with a maximum power of 1.1W when reading, and maximum power consumption of 3.3W when writing. The operating temperature range of the product is 0℃~70-degree c, and the official 3-year limited warranty is given.

Additionally to this SSD, Kingston also warmed up the GHOST TREE NVMe solid-state during CES 2021. The continuous read and write speed of this product can reach 7000MB/s. It utilizes PCIe 4.0 x4 protocol and provides 1TB-4TB capacity to choose from. As of now, Kingston has not officially declared the selling price of NV1 SSDs.
