Mercedes-Benz’s new EQS pure electric sedan officially announced its interior design

Mercedes-Benz’s first large-scale luxury pure electric sedan under the Mercedes-EQ sub-brand, Mercedes-Benz’s new EQS pure electric sedan, has recently officially declared its interior design.

The new EQS is also the first purely electric model based on a luxury executive car platform. The new EQS will be produced at Mercedes-Benz’s carbon-neutral plant, “Factory 56” in Sindelfingen.

The new EQS will be EQ’s first model based on the positive development of a pure electric platform. Its drag coefficient reaches Cd 0.20, adopts a “bend-bow” integrated body, and is designed with the cockpit front and slip-back design.

The new EQS moves the A-pillar and C-pillar forward, with a frameless door and a curved high-waist line design. The three-pointed star logo pattern is widely used in front grille panels, wheels, interior trim panels, etc.

In the cockpit of the new EQS, MBUX Hyperscreen is the core of its interior design. The curved glass screen with an overall width of more than 141 cm is integrated with three high-resolution screens, and two turbine-shaped air-conditioning outlets are embedded in the glass screen.

Additionally, the new EQS also gives a central control design similar to the new S-Class sedan. The central control panel is connected with the armrest table, and the central control panel is provided with wooden decorative panels.

Based on the Berlin Sound surround sound system, the new EQS provides 3 types of simulated sound waves, including Silver Waves, Vivid Flux, and Roaring Pulse. The new EQS is equipped with an upgraded version of Changxin Xingshen air conditioning components.

Equipped with a large HEPA high-efficiency filtration system, which integrates air sensors, filters, displays, and air conditioning systems, which can monitor air quality in real-time and start with air conditioning in real-time.

The system utilizes approximately 600 grams of activated carbon. As the first pure electric vehicle based on a luxury executive car platform, the new EQS offers two-seat options-electric art-style comfortable seats and AMG-style sports seats.
