Micron achieved full global employee salary equality
Micron declared that it has achieved full global employee salary equality, covering basic salary, bonuses, and stock awards. Micron set the goal of achieving equal pay for all employees and regarded it as a key pillar of the company’s diversified, equal and inclusive initiatives.
The achievement of this goal represents a new milestone that embodies Micron’s commitment to promoting salary equality, inclusive benefits, and fairness in human practices. It also shows that Micron aims to create an environment that values and respects every team member.
Micron uses relevant technical means to analyze and understand salary differences and make adjustments to eliminate significant salary differences between disadvantaged groups and the corresponding majority groups.
Initially, Micron focused on gender pay equality, and in 2018 achieved women’s pay equality globally. Micron then increased its focus to include more vulnerable groups, including the disabled, veterans, blacks, and American Hispanics and Latinos.
