MediaTek Dimensity 1200 flagship chip was officially launched on January 20, 2021. It utilizes TSMC’s 6nm process technology, the main frequency of the large core can reach 3.0GHz, and the core architecture of 1+3+4 is adopted.
Realme GT Neo will launch this chip for the first time. A well-known tipster leaked, the mobile phone’s running score evaluation results and compared it with a Snapdragon 870 model.
It can be seen from the results that the Dimensity 1200 chip has a comprehensive running score of 711664 points that is very close to the 719585 points of the Snapdragon 870. Among them, the CPU part of the Snapdragon 870 leads, the GPU part of the Dimensity 1200 leads, and the gap between the other two projects are not big.
The temperature of the mobile phone during the running time is 25-degreeC, and the core temperature is lower than 35-degreeC after the running time is over. The heating level of the two chips is the same, and there is no overheating.
MediaTek’s sub-flagship SoC Dimensity 1100 comprehensive running score is about 600,000 points, while the previous generation Dimensity 1000+ is about 510,000 points. It can be seen that the performance of each generation of Dimensity series SoC has improved significantly.
The Realme GT mobile phone was released on March 4. The phone is equipped with the Snapdragon 888 processor, and the initial price is 2799 yuan.
The Realme GT Neo will be equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 1200. It will be released at 14:30 on March 31. The phone will be equipped with a 4500mAh dual-cell lithium battery, a 6.55-inch screen, and support 65W fast charging.
