Tesla electric pickup trucks will begin production in June at the earliest

Electric car maker Tesla officially released its long-prepared electric pickup Cybertruck on November 22, 2019. There are a single-motor rear-wheel-drive version and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version.

There are 3 versions of the three-motor all-wheel-drive version, the latter version is expected to start mass production at the end of next year, and the other two versions are planned to start mass production at the end of this year.

However, the mass production time of Tesla’s domineering-looking electric pickup is expected to advance. According to reports, production will begin as early as June this year. The disclosure of the source, reporting that Tesla’s electric pickup Cybertruck will start production as early as June this year.

The whistleblower said that his neighbor who works at Tesla disclosed that he will go to the Austin Super Factory to work on electric pickup trucks. Another whistleblower stated on social media that Tesla has established a trial production line for an electric pickup Cybertruck at the Fremont factory, which will eventually be produced at the Austin Super Factory.

The Tesla Austin Super Factory was declared in July last year and is still under construction. However, die-casting equipment, industrial robots, painting equipment, etc., have begun to enter the site in February.

The electric pickup Cybertruck is Tesla’s current One of the models planned to be produced at the Austin Super Factory, and the other one is Model Y.  In September last year, some media reported that according to documents published by the factory contractor on the Austin website.

Tesla planned to complete the actual construction of the Austin super factory in May this year. The completion of construction in May means that it is expected to be put into production soon, and it is also expected to start production of related electric vehicles in June.
