Huawei Mate 20 X 5G smartphones in China have started receiving the latest EMUI 11 update last month. The latest EMUI version comes with a bunch of new and exciting features to provide a refreshed user interface.
Now, as per the latest information, Huawei has begun sending the latest software update for the Mate 20 X 5G devices. Besides any new features, the update only installs the February 2021 security patch for improved system security and device stability.
As per the changelog, this update fixes different levels of exploits and issues including 2 critical and 26 high levels, and 77 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G users can identify the latest firmware update via the EMUI 11 version 11.0.0.137 which is updated from 11.0.0.136.
How to update:
Download via Settings:
- Open Settings
- Click on the System & Updates
- Open Software update
- Tap on Check for updates option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
Download via Support app:
- Open the Support app on your device
- Go to the Service tab
- Click on the update button
- Tap on Check for update option
- If an update is available, click on Download and install
- After installation Reboot the device
