Samsung Galaxy M31 getting March 2021 security update with camera improvements

The Galaxy M31 became the first budget device from Samsung to test the beta for the Android 11-based One UI 3.0. While the beta program was limited to India and South Korea but still many users got the chance to download to experience Android 11 before the stable rollout.

After several beta updates, the smartphone has also received the stable version of One UI 3.0 in January 2021. The company has also released the One UI 3.1 update for these devices.

Now, as per the latest information, the Korean tech giant started rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy M31 users in India. The latest firmware carries version number M315FXXU2BUC8 and comes with an update size of more than 500MB.

Although, the changelog does not mention anything big and the size of the update suggests that it has some major camera improvements. Moreover, it can also offer some additional camera features and enhancements.

The One UI 3.1 update for the Galaxy M31 already included the March 2021 security. Meanwhile, this FOTA again included the same security patch alongside some unknown bug fixes and enhanced system functions.

How to check for updates:

If the update has not arrived on your device over the air, then you can also check it manually. Head to the device’s Settings, select the Software update menu, and tap on the Download and install option.
