Huami, which is the manufacturer of Xiaomi Mi Band fitness bracelets, today began teasing the public with information about the imminent announcement of a new smartwatch.
An image has appeared on the Chinese social network Weibo, which confirms that the manufacturer is going to release a new version of the Amazfit GTR 2 smartwatch, which will be equipped with support for eSIM technology.
In September last year, the company released the Amazfit GTR 2 watch with the function of monitoring blood oxygen levels and heart rate. The company is now launching the device in an eSIM version that will allow making calls without using a smartphone.
Little is known about the new version of Amazfit GTR 2 eSIM, but it will probably have the same specifications as the previously released model.
