Google announced its withdrawal from 2021 World Mobile Communications Conference
Google announced on Wednesday that the company will not participate in this year’s World Mobile Communications Conference (MWC). Last year’s world’s largest phone show was halted due to the global pandemic.
“According to our current travel restrictions and agreements for COVID-19, Google has decided not to participate in this year’s MWC. We will continue to work closely with the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) to support our partners through virtual opportunities. We look forward to this year’s event. , Looking forward to seeing you in Barcelona in 2022.” Google said in a statement.

Prior to this, Nokia, Ericsson, Sony, and Oracle have announced their withdrawal from this year’s MWC, and Google is by far the most well-known company.
