Google is preparing to expand range of original wireless earbuds with Pixel Buds A

Posted on

Last year Google unveiled the second generation Pixel Buds in its first original wireless earbuds. The 2017 version of the Google headset offers two free buds connected to your phone via Bluetooth, where you used wire to connect the two buds on the back of your head, in line with the trend of the original wireless earbuds popularized by Apple AirPods.

According to 9to5Goolge, in 2021, Google is preparing to expand the range of original wireless earbuds with “Pixel Buds A”. Surprisingly, except for a few changes in the color palette, Pixel Buds A cannot be separated from the current pixel buds. For starters, we can confirm that Pixel Buds A is available in two color schemes, white and green.

The white model is distinguished by all the white case interior and all-white bud design and the black plastic of the pots, wings, and case interior found in last year’s model for all colors. To give you a better idea of what this design looks like, we changed the photo of the pixel buds last year according to our understanding of white pixel buds.

At the same time, the green Pixel Buds uses darker forest green than the A2020 model’s Quit Mint color. Like the white way, this dark green charging case is used on the inside as well as on the inside opposite pieces and bud wings.

The two colors are rumored to match the color offerings of the Pixel 5A – the Pixel 4 and 2020 pixel buds are available in “Clear White” and “Ojo Orange” – but so far, the phone’s color options have not been leaked.

Like the two generations made by Google Earbuds, the Pixel Buds A provides touch controls for media controls and access to Google Assistant. The touch controls themselves should be almost identical or the same as last year.

The price of the Pixel Buds A is not currently known, but the “A” rating indicates that Google is looking at a more affordable set made by Earbuds, with the Pixel 4A being an affordable alternative to the Pixel 4. -Generation Pixel Buds is currently retailing at 9,179, and there is plenty of room for a more affordable set in the Made by Google lineup. It is not clear what cuts Google will make to make these buds more affordable.

With regard to the possibility of launching these Pixel Buds A, the recently discovered FCC lists refer to Google’s latest original wireless earbuds, which are not part of the normal fall made by Google’s hardware launches but will be released somewhere in the middle of the window. Google did not respond to our request for comment.

It is expected that such a model may appear on the market in the middle of summer. No pricing details yet, but the current Pixel Buds are retailing for $ 180.
