Instagram working to make it easier for users to block abusive comments

Some people will always take advantage of the distance and anonymity of the internet to abuse others on social media platforms, which causes many people to leave social media.

This is clearly not in the interests of companies like Instagram, and the company seems to be studying how to make it easier for users to block abusive comments in their posts. Currently, users can ask Instagram to hide offensive comments and manually block specific words.

According to the latest information, reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi discovered that Instagram is developing a new option to hide more comments. The description is: “When activated, comments containing frequently reported words will be automatically hidden.”

This feature probably uses artificial intelligence to hide comments that do not necessarily contain abusive words, but in general, are still considered abusive by many people.

Before Facebook locked the feature again, the feature was briefly introduced to Android alpha users, but it seems likely that this popular feature will eventually be rolled out to all Instagram users.
