Google Home app recommends users to connect nearby devices

During distance education, many educators turned to use Google forms for exams, quizzes, and other tasks. Google will soon add forms to automatically save draft progress if users are unable to complete the sitting.

With this new feature, you do not need to start if you can not complete the form or quiz in one sitting, want to switch between multiple devices, or cut off your internet connection before submitting your answers.

If you are logged into your workspace account, Google Now saves user progress in the classroom in a form, quiz, or quiz assignment. Drafts are saved for 30 days “from the last editor until the form is completed”.

From next week, the Google Workspace beta for education users will have access to this feature – Education Basics, Education Plus, Education Standards, Workspace to teach and learn users.

Administrators can use this form to express their interest in participating in the beta. All Google workspace customers will have access to the feature later this year, but until then:

During the beta, forms are automatically saved as your draft when users on your domain sign in to their Google workspace for education.
