Samsung Galaxy SmartTag+ available for pre-order in the US

Samsung launched different products in the Galaxy Unpacked event including the Galaxy S21 flagships, Galaxy Buds Pro, One UI 3.1, and two SmartTags. These devices went available for pre-orders except for the SmartTag Plus, which is expected to be available later this year.

Meanwhile, it looks like the premium variant of the object tracker will soon be available for purchase as it quietly been put on the shelves of an e-commerce B&H. And the pre-sale price of the Galaxy SmartTag+ is 39.99 USD and will be on sale on April 12.

The design of the Galaxy SmartTag+ is similar to the base version, but the biggest difference is that it supports UWB ultra-wideband radio technology and can be accurately positioned.

Moreover, it not only supports Bluetooth 5.0 but can also use mobile phones that support UWB technology to display navigation information directly on the screen for easy searching.

Besides, the SmartThing app can be used to make the tag emit a specific sound, and the tag can also be used to find the phone in the reverse direction.

On the other hand, the Galaxy SmartTag uses a button lithium battery for the power supply and has a battery life of up to 300 days. Moreover, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and has a communication distance of up to 120m.
