Samsung Electronics has made the first permanent price cut for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphone with a flexible display in the United States.
The Galaxy Z Fold 2 was Samsung’s second foldable smartphone with a flexible screen, debuting in September 2020 for $1999.99. Now Samsung offers a model for $200 cheaper, the price starts at $1,800 (137,584 rubles), including the unlocked version that is not tied to a specific operator.

In addition, there is a trade-in program and special codes from existing Galaxy Z Fold 2 5G and Galaxy Z Flip 5G users. The latter allows you to reduce the cost by another $100. Under the trade-in program, a smartphone can be obtained for a price of $1199.99.
In Russia, there are now several offers for the Galaxy Z Fold 2. On the official Samsung website, the smartphone is offered at a discount of 15 thousand rubles – 164,990 instead of the previous 179,990 rubles, and also give as a gift Galaxy Buds Pro wireless headphones, which are sold separately for 16,220 rubles, taking into account the discounts that apply to them. For the same price and with the same discount, but without the gift headphones, Galaxy Z Fold 2 is offered in Svyaznoy.
In Russia, Z Fold 2 can be bought for 144,990 rubles, and the standard price without a discount is indicated in the amount of 164,990 rubles as a discounted price directly from Samsung or Svyaznoy.
