Cyberpunk 2077 PC players reporting major bug issues with 1.2 update on PS4 and Xbox One
Recently, CD Project Red published a huge update 1.2 for the cyberpunk RPG Cyberpunk 2077, which brought with it over 500 fixes and improvements.
Early adopters to install the updates immediately noticed the noticeably improved graphics of the previous generation version of Cyberpunk 2077, which was in a terrible state at the time of the game’s release.

Digital Foundry experts took a close look at the image quality in patch 1.2 of Cyberpunk 2077. The main focus was on the analysis of legacy consoles.
The update fixed many bugs in Cyberpunk 2077 and brought significant improvements to the frame rate on the PS4 Pro. Details on how the game works on PS4 Pro are noted in the 2nd minute of the video.
It turned out that now the game has big problems with floating objects, but the animation has become smoother. In the most difficult combat scenes, the game received an increase of 5-6 frames and almost always produces a stable 30 frames per second.
This is a major improvement over version 1.1. Digital Foundry emphasizes that this was due to some visual simplifications.
On Xbox One X, the game also got a 5fps increase, especially in dynamic moments. But sometimes there are “glitches” lasting 1-2 seconds, which were not there before, which is annoying. The Sony (PS4 Pro) console still does a better job of playing the game.
As for the PS4, in the same situations, the authors improved the frequency by only 2-3 frames per second. In locations, objects still frequently pop up and the game often crashes to the main console menu.
The Xbox One situation is dire. Cyberpunk 2077 runs on the Microsoft console at 20 frames per second. It looks like nothing has changed with the new patch.
