PUBG 11.1 patch is now rolling out for Console with new features, improvements, bug fixes, and more
Last month, PUBG released PC Servers 10.3 update which brings your favorite weapon sounds including the Weapon Sound Selection system, performance improvements, updates to the reputation system, and more.
PUBG‘s 10.3 updates with a variety of new features and performance upgrades including a new Weapon Sound Selection system, some lighting improvements for Karakin, and even the ability to emote with your teammates.
Now, PUBG corporation drops the 11.1 PC Test Server patch notes with a new game mode into the highlands of Paramo. In addition, the developer also works on the 10 new Mastery Medals which are added to bling up your revamped PUBG ID. While there, you can try out the latest weapon balance updates that include damage increases for the Mini-14, VSS, and SCAR-L.
Furthermore, PUBG’s larger maps deploy the new Emergency Pickup to grab quick transport over the safe zone for you and your squad. The 11.1 also features Killfeed update, new ways to find and add friends, a Match Log, and more.
Starting from Season 11, Ranked Seasons will run for 2 months at a time. Season beginning and end dates no longer align with that of the Survivor Passes. Due to the change in season duration, adjustments have been made to the ranked reward table.
Check out the patch notes below for full details on everything and look for all these changes on live servers starting next week.
1. Map Service Plans
Over the past year, the team has focused on releasing several small-scale maps of Karakin, Paramo building demolition, and partially irregular landscapes to the streets of Heaven city with its PVPVE components.
PUBG love creating new and fun maps to play with all of you, but with all these new maps it is very difficult to match and map rotation. To maintain a balance between map selection and match time, we will limit the number of playable maps to five, starting with update 11.1.
2. Weapon Balance Update
Based on the data we’ve collected in the past months, we’ve made adjustments to the Weapon Balance. We found that in Normal matches, the Beryl, M416, and SLR are all used in a similar amount.
- Mini14
- Increased damage by +1. (46 → 47)
- VSS
- Increased damage by +2. (41 → 43)
- SCAR-L
- Increased damage by +1. (41 → 42)
- SLR
- Increased horizontal recoil by 15%.
- Decreased recoil recovery rate from 2.1 → 1.9
- Beryl
- Increased horizontal recoil magnitude by 5%
- Increased horizontal recoil speed from 10 → 11
- Increased vertical recoil speed by +1.5 (15 → 16.5)
