Microsoft will launch its new Surface Laptop on April 27. But almost everything is known about them already now.
The source claims that outwardly the models will hardly change. We are still waiting for two versions, a 13.5-inch screen, and a 15-inch display. And there will still be both versions with Intel processors and with AMD CPUs, but, of course, new laptops will also have new platforms.

In the first case, we are talking about the CPU Core i5-1145G7 and Core i7-1185G7, and in the second, about the Ryzen 5 4680U and Ryzen 7 4980U. You cannot find such APUs on the AMD website, because, as before, these are semi-custom solutions directly for Microsoft. So far, there are few details about them, but, apparently, one can count on higher frequencies relative to conventional APUs.
Also, laptops will receive from 8 to 32 GB of RAM, storage volumes from 128 GB to 1 TB, a battery with a capacity of 49 Wh, and thin and light cases. The dimensions of the younger model will be 308 x 223 x 14.5 mm with a mass of 1.25-1.31 kg, the older one – 339.5 x 244 x 14.5 mm with a mass of about 1.54 kg.
That is, modifications with AMD APUs will be significantly cheaper than versions with Intel processors, although it is not always possible to compare directly due to the different amount of RAM or SSD.
