Here’s what Samsung has to say for Galaxy S20 Ultra’s broken camera glass issue

Samsung Galaxy S20 series comes with some iconic capabilities such as Space Zoom, Dynamic AMOLED screens with 120Hz refresh rate, powerful processors, three years of Android upgrades support, and many more.

The S20 Ultra is the top tier of the Galaxy S20 series that comes with a massive 108-megapixel quad-camera setup and features 100x Space Zoom. Following its launch, some owners of the Galaxy S20 Ultra reported a severe issue, which is not a software issue but a hardware problem.

According to the concerns of the affected users, they are suffering from the broken camera glass of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. In contrast, the camera glass randomly gets broken even without dropping the device. The users have also applied the protective glass on the camera module but the issue remained unfixed.

At the same time, the company has not acknowledged the reports for a long time and the customer service centers denied to cover this damage under warranty. Moving ahead, a Samsung Care Ambassador confirmed that one of their ambassadors also affected by the same camera lens crack issue.

The official further stated, the company found out that it has to do with pressure buildup underneath the glass and not customers banging it against something. Affected Galaxy S20 Ultra owners can reach out to customer support and see what they say.

Furthermore, if Samsung doesn’t repair then an alternate route would be to send it in with a deductible of $100 if you are on Samsung Care plus or take it to your nearest Ubreakifix. Therefore, the Galaxy S20 Ultra users have to repair the broken camera glass on their own.
