AMD Ryzen 7 5800X supply has improved significantly

Posted on

AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors have been in short supply. Usually, the prices of products available on the market are higher than AMD’s suggested retail price. The scalpers also use this gap between supply and demand to make a difference in price.

Since the beginning of this year, AMD seems to do its best to solve the supply problem. In the mid-February market survey, the supply situation of Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 5 5600X has been greatly improved, and the price is showing a downward trend.

According to a report by TomsHardware, currently in the US market, with the increase in supply, the price of Ryzen 7 5800X has fallen further recently, and the effect has become more obvious. On Newegg, Ryzen 7 5800X has fallen below the MSRP’s $449, and the current retail price is $439.

With the recent supply shortages in the market, it is not easy to keep prices down. In contrast, the price of the domestic Ryzen 7 5800X is relatively stable and remains at the suggested retail price. On the other hand, the prices of Ryzen 9 5900X and 5950X are relatively high, still a lot higher than the suggested retail price, which is similar to the situation in mid-February.
