Recently, reports surfaced online suggesting that Samsung and Olympus are collaborating for the flagship camera of the next-gen flagship smartphone. However, it was not clear in the report that which camera aspects will be enhanced with this partnership.
According to the latest information, we nearly got the reason for the alleged partnership as the upcoming Galaxy devices might be getting sensor-shift camera function just like the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
The Korean tech giant has been testing a phone with sensor-shift camera technology for quite a while, which will improve the camera stabilization of the next-gen Galaxy devices.

Moreover, Samsung already has a super steady mode in its smartphones. But, with this tech, the camera performance of the devices will get ten times better, especially the stabilization while taking pictures or shooting high-res videos.
However, it is mentioned in the report that this type of advancement is not a new thing in mobile optics as many phones from the past as well as the recent ones have the same capabilities but with different approaches.
So, it will be interesting to see how Samsung will install this new camera feature in its upcoming Galaxy devices, most likely to be showcased with the Galaxy S22, which is set to launch at the end of this year or maybe in January 2022.
