So far, a number of flagship and mid-range Galaxy devices have received this new security update while the remaining are still waiting for their turn. Now, And now, Samsung has begun rolling out the April 2021 security patch to the Galaxy S20 FE users in various markets including India and Europe.

Users can identify this update via release numbers: G781BXXU2CUD1 and G780FXXU2CUCC for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G and Galaxy S20 FE LTE respectively. The changelog of this update (attached below) doesn’t show any new feature or major system optimizations except for the security improvements.
On the other hand, this update brings enhancements to the device stability as well as fixes for some unknown bugs. Furthermore, it also refreshes the system functions in order to increase the overall user experience.
However, Samsung is currently sending this firmware update to select Galaxy S20 FE users and it is expected that it will be available widely in the coming hours/days. Till then, you can easily check for the updates manually by heading towards your device Settings > Software updates > Download and install.
