Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G getting March 2021 security update

Huawei Nova 6 and 6 5G smartphones have already upgraded over EMUI 11, after completing the months of beta testing. The EMUI 11 comes with a fresh user interface (UI), brand new features, and boasts the existing ones for user convenience.

Now, Huawei has kicked off a new software update for Nova 6 series devices. This update installed the security patch released in March 2021 that improves system security by fixing different levels of exploits and issues.

According to the changelog, this security note fixes 2 critical, 13 high levels, and 132 medium levels of CVEs for improved system security.

On the other hand, it was reported that HarmonyOS for mobile devices will go official in April this year and Huawei will also conclude the HarmonyOS mobile developer beta with the launch for commercial consumers.

Huawei Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G devices users grabbing EMUI version 11.0.0.171 upgraded from 11.0.0.170. The update is rolling out in batches and may take some time to reach every device.

Through Settings:
