Unofficial renderings of a hypothetical iPhone smartphone have appeared on the Web, which may well someday see the light of day if the design solution implemented in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra becomes popular.
Apple does not hesitate to use time-tested solutions in its smartphones for a long time but eventually adopts new technologies from colleagues from the Android world. This can happen with an additional screen, if, after the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra, it begins to appear in other models, and also proves its worth.
The iPhone shown in the renders is equipped with a quad-camera with four image sensors, as well as an additional sensor and LED flash.

Next to the camera, there is an additional screen in the form of a square with rounded corners, which displays the date, time, battery charge. Presumably, app notifications can be displayed on the same screen, in addition, it can be used as a viewfinder to take selfies with the main camera.
This concept of a smartphone lacks a cutout for the front camera, which may turn out to be a sub-screen. However, with a second screen, the need for a selfie camera disappears, because it can be completely replaced by the main camera unit.
The additional screen can also be used for video calls. The bottom of the back panel shows three metal contacts that can be used for wireless charging. It is clearly seen that the smartphone is devoid of a connector for charging and data transfer.
This year we expect the iPhone 13 lineup to last 15% longer than the iPhone 12 thanks to energy-efficient LTPO technology, and should also get an in-screen fingerprint reader.
