This could be Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra after getting Olympus camera technology

Earlier this year, Samsung introduced its latest Galaxy S21 series smartphones. Just like the predecessor, these new S21 phones also come with powerful camera specifications such as 100x Space Zoom.

Nowadays, smartphone makers are collaborating with a reputed camera and lens manufacturers to improve the photography performance of mobile phones. For example, OnePlus partnered with Hasselblad for its OnePlus 9 series’ camera and reports even suggested that Samsung has also started cooperation with camera manufacturer Olympus.

After spreading the information of collaboration between Samsung and Olympus, the popular graphic designer Technizo Concept (via LetsGoDigital) has made a series of product renders of the “Galaxy S22 Ultra”, which could launch in Q1 2022 with a 200 megapixel Olympus camera and an S Pen support.

Olympus is a well-known mirrorless camera and lens manufacturer. However, the camera business has been declining for years due to increasing competition from smartphones. Moreover, the Japanese camera maker announced that it will be collaborating with other companies that are not in the camera or lens industry.

Undoubtedly, Samsung is the leading smartphone brand for years. The company released its Galaxy S21 series at the beginning of this year, which is showing a huge response from consumers. At the same time, the competition of the company with Chinese OEMs is increasing continuously, so that Samsung will have to keep innovating to stay on top.

It is reported that the Korean tech giant wants to bet extra high this year with its foldable smartphone line-up. And the Galaxy Z Fold 3 should be a particularly innovative model. Also, it seems to be the first foldable phone to support the S Pen and Under Display Camera (UDC).
