Tesla is ramping up production of its electric vehicles on a quarterly basis. As soon as the German plant is put into operation, as well as a new line at the Chinese plant, the company will set new production and sales records, but now, after the last quarterly report, it became clear – Tesla has sold more than 1.5 million vehicles in total.

More specifically, sales for the entire time amounted to about 1,584,500 units. Most of them were Model 3 – over 950,000.
The platform Model Y is also gaining momentum, more than 100,000. And this despite the fact that it has been sold for only about a year.
Cumulative sales of Model S and Model X topped the 510,000 marks. Obviously, against the backdrop of growing demand and the launch of new models, Tesla will be able to report on the sale of 2 million cars by the end of this year.
